Anytime - Year Round
There are many occasions to specifically request your portraits be created indoors. Soft indoor light can be great to profile sensitive eyes, or maybe you have always wanted your home's interior used as a backdrop for your portraits. The reasons vary, and we can photograph indoors anytime of course. Your home becomes a most amazing studio set!
May & June
Grad and Family Portraits: We do a small selection of graduates, high school and post secondary at this time. After the May long week-end our outside spaces near Saskatoon have greened up enough to be appropriate for a 'summer portrait' look.
July - August
Northern Lakes Portrait Tour: We are on location in northern SK for much of the summer, spending time at the family cabin at Christopher Lake. Between the Northern Lakes Portrait Tour, our summer holidays and assignments in and around Saskatoon, we are very busy. If you have a specific project date, please contact us early.
Lakes included in the tour include: Waskesiu, Christopher, Emma, McPhee, Anglin and Candle Lake. We are always happy to include a new lake or rural location in our tour. Please ask us if you have a favorite lake location that isn't yet included in the tour!
Summer is also a spectacular time for outdoor portraits in and around Saskatoon. Summer evening photo shoots have such a peaceful and wondrous element to them. The lazy days of summer definitely contribute to portraits that have a relaxed and intimate feel to them.
September & October
Fall Family Portraits: Fall can be an amazing time to plan and photograph. Make sure not to wait too long before booking your portraits. Fall leaves are beautiful, and nightfall comes early.
December
Family Portraits: We close our studio for Christmas between December 24th and January 5th. We do however make available a few days during the holiday that we can create portraits for you and your extended fami ly . Please call for our availability.
